Wooden striped/lidded tankard from TriCanisNox (sp?) at KCRF. That thing has taken a BEATING. ;)

2. Did you dress your 1st time at Faire?
Hah, yeah...I came with several friends from Worlds of Fun, and we were complete playtrons in very pretty costumes made entirely of the wrong materials. :p

3. Big Faire, Dam Faire, or Southern?
KCRF, WHRF, and JRF (been to TRF as well, but am not a part of it.)

4. Do you regularly smuggle alcohol into Faire?
Hah, no way.

5. What was the last thing you bought - other than food and drink?
At faire? Hmm...a silver chainmail bracelet, I think. Or T'ger socks.

6. Do you regularly pirate pictures?
Huh? Uhh, no.

7. Ever followed the parade all the way thru Faire?
Lollers. Yes, and I was hollering loudly all the way through.

8. Have you seen every show?
Nope. There are far too many who come in for only a couple of weekends and then disappear again for me to keep up with all of them. But some I know by heart.

9. What does your favorite pin say?
Hmm. I'm tickled most by Brenna's "Dungeon Bait" pin, I think.

10. MUST your costume be period?
Seriously? What-evaarrrr. It's period enough to be passable to most people, though I'm quite certain that diehard SCA people would pick it apart in an instant.

11. Where was your last out-of-state Faire?
TRF, back in...holy crap...2004???

12. Do you know the words to a Poxy Boggards' song?
Who?

13. How many different costumes do you own?
That depends on if you want to play the coordinating pieces game. I've created 6 complete costumes for specific characters, but most of those pieces can be mixed and matched to create a huge number of other characters.

14. Do you carry a blade?
Yes. Sometimes up to three.

15. Have you been flogged?
Holy crap, NO.

16. When was your virgin year?
1999, I think.

17. Who originally introduced you to Faire?
Friends from Worlds of Fun.

18. Have you been drunk at ale stand zero before ever entering Faire?
Hah, nope.

19. Ever gotten a henna tat?
Yes, a couple of them. None of them have ever lasted more than a day.

20. Had your hair braided?
Just once, the first year at WH.

21. Do you use a tankard cover?
Yes, as mine is attached.

22. Do you have pockets?
Nope, just my pouch.

23. After seeing what happened to TruBBle, will you tell anyone it's your birthday?
I don't get it.

24. Do you carry a cell phone where it can be seen?
No.

25. Will you shed part of your costume if it's hot?
Yes...in our neck of the woods you have to dress in layers.

26. What part of someone else's costume do you wish you had?
I'd love to have a custom-made bodice, made by someone other than me. I like my bodices, don't get me wrong, but they're all pretty much the same shape from year to year.

27. Ever had a run-in with security?
Nope. Or, okay, well, never ABOUT me anyway. When I worked as an area manager, I had plenty of conversations with security.

28. Do you bother with Faire-speak?
Yeah, kinda have to.

29. Have you been on either end of the blue ribbon?
Hah, nope.

30. What do you carry on you, that most other people probably do not?
Tiny Avon lipsticks.

31. Is sunscreen a normal part of your costume?
God, yes. Bodice burn is so not teh sexy.

32. What color is your shirt?
Depends on the character. White, Natural, Midnight Blue, or Burgandy.

Bonus stuck-up garb-nazi question: do you know what picadills are?
Yep, but never have made them.
