Do you ever feel like walking into your workplace and telling the people that you'll just save them the effort and will go ahead and fire yourself? Because all day long, you get nothing but criticism over the smallest things, and all the GOOD stuff you do goes by totally unnoticed? I swear I'm just about to that point. Let's not consider the fact that I'm doing the work of about 3-4 people at once here...no...I make one mistake and let one bug go by without remembering to enter it into the official database, and it's not even a bug that negatively affects our system...and oh my god, let's call in the troops! Everything's a big freaking hairy deal, apparently, and Lucky Me, I get to be on the bad end of it all at the moment. Oh, and yesterday, we got new manager number three in as many months, so we have to take time out of our days now to go and meet with him and train him on how we do things around here, and so on. Like there's not enough to do in the day. Gah.
Yeah, I'm frustrated.
I need a Go To Hell sign to hang outside my cube.
