Moving times

Well, it's all done. Yay! I'm officially moved. The old house has been cleaned, the keys have been turned in, the utilities have been shut off in my name as of tomorrow. There's no going back, at least not to that house, and I'm 100% okay with it. There are a ton of things left to unpack and I'm a bit nervous today, leaving the kids to their own devices in The House Filled With Valuable Things, but hopefully it'll all go okay. They've been instructed to call me if they have any questions.

It was a relatively uneventful move...getting the second set of cats moved was a little crazy though...oh, there's a story there. ( Click for gross details )

Bless C's heart...he worked his ass off this weekend. I'll have to think of some way to repay him for that. Something special I could do for him. Hmm. Maybe I'll make his 2-day burrito sauce next week. That stuff is good.

We carpooled in to work today, which was odd, but nice, I guess. I get the feeling he's not quite comfortable with me being the one driving to work...if the weather's nice this week, maybe we can ride the bike in on a few days. That'd be fun.

Guess I should hit the grindstone now...got much to do today. But thank god the moving is done. W00t!
