Since I've got a handful of various blogs, I'm not always consistent about posting publicly in all of them. So, just so I can have a public post in this one again, here's an update on me.
I'm now living with C, and the kids have adjusted well, and they've started school and everything seems to be groovy. I'm working the same job, and getting more responsibilities without any additional pay, but my boss says he's working on that. My psychological state is okay...been feeling low the last couple of days, but hopefully that's temporary. Would like to drop a good 30 pounds, and have yet to figure out how to do that. What frustrates me is that I've gained 20 of those pounds in the last year. Had I kept them off, I'd only have 10 to lose. Grar at that. I've been walking regularly, about a mile and a half at a time, and have even tried jogging, but nothing seems to be working. I'm to the point where I'm almost willing to consider spending the $153 for a bottle of whatever it is they say works on TV. The only thing that's stopping me is a review I read about it online in which they said it doesn't really work. Well, that, and the lack of $153 (see the second sentence in this paragraph above.)
You'd think with as short of cash as things are right now, that I wouldn't even be able to afford to eat. Funny how priorities keep getting in the way.
Bottom line, I'm doing okay. Mostly.
