It doesn't make sense to me...
Sep. 27th, 2005 09:48 amWhy, after a football game, is the losing team asked, "What happened?" As if there will ever be a reason other than, "Well, we just didn't play together well as a team tonight. They played better than we did."
Hello?!? Is the question asked ad nauseum in the hopes that maybe SOMEday, some linebacker/wide receiver is going to come out and spill the beans about the coach making the whole team wear crotchless panties and THAT's why they're not playing well...or that four teammates were playing with broken toes...or that everyone was drunk and/or hungover during the game? If they had various excuses like that, I could excuse the repetitive questioning...but to hear the same question and the same answer week after week, team after team...good GOD, the sports announcers either have no creativity or are just really that stupid.
I'm glad the Broncos won yesterday...never have been a Chiefs fan...and since my beloved Bears are probably never again going to come out of hibernation, I might as well at least root for a team with a similar color palette. Plus, they're horsies. HORSIES!!
