RainRainRainRainRain!

I took the puppy outside this morning at around 6:15.  The sky was refusing to give up its darkness, the wind was blowing, and the smell of rain was in the air.  The puppy has been spending the last several days just moping about in the heat.  This morning she was a fluffy, bouncing bundle of happiness...chasing birds, chasing her own tail, running up and down the yard at speeds not usually seen by her.  She didn't even want to come inside for breakfast.

Oh, to be able to just enjoy the rain today...

My car's a/c has been on the fritz for months now, and with the 107-ish temps we've been seeing, I'm none too glad for the break in the weather.  Finally, a day where I can come home and not be drenched, with my blown-around hair stuck to my reddened face.  :D

I never thought I'd be so glad to see a day where the clouds are dark.   *happy*
