I did it!!

I rode my motorcycle alllll the way to work!  Yay!!  :D  Twenty miles may not sound like a lot, but it's more than I've ridden on my own ever, so it was a big milestone for me to hit.  Now to find backroads that will take me home, hah!  (many of the roads I took to get to work are one-way's, like access roads, etc.)  I'm doing okay at 50MPH, but haven't had the guts yet to take it higher, so no Hwy 71 for me just yet.  Soon, soon...I'll get there in time.

Chris made it home safe and sound last night, though he got home about 3 hours later than originally planned.  With one new rider, they took it easier than they normally do, and I guess most of the ride they putted along at about 50 MPH, with stops every hour or so that lasted 15-20 minutes each.  I think I would have gone nuts if I had been there.  I'd be all, come ON!  Let's GO!!!  :p  But Chris has the patience of a saint, so he was okay...just tired of being on the road.  And I, of course, am happy that he's back.  :)

Other than that, it's another day at the grindstone.  Woo...  :p
