I just wandered over to kctv5.com, which is the website of one of our local news stations.  There, right at the top, was this headline:

Woman's SUV Collides With Salt Truck, Dies

Sorry, what was that?  The woman's SUV died?  Good lord, people...if you're going to publish something for the world to read, please make a point to be grammatically correct, and to say what you mean.

I shall now go and mourn the death of the SUV, since clearly the WOMAN is just fine.  *sigh*

I feel sad for her family.  ((hugs for the complete strangers))
