The weekend was good.

I spent the last part of the week last week dealing with a sick kid, which is never fun, but he's doing better now, so hooray to that. On Saturday, my daughter took part in a Mathletes competition, which was all sorts of screwed up due to the principal not turning in the paperwork or money or something in time, so they weren't even expecting our kids to be there, and she almost didn't get to participate at all. But the kids got to take the tests involved, and we were hoping they did well, but as none of the kids from her school got any kind of recognition at all, we are thinking that they maybe didn't even bother grading any of our kids' tests, which pretty much pisses me off. But what can you do when it's all said and done, right? It's over, so let it go.
On Saturday afternoon, C came over and we ran to the barber shop, where he had his glorious mane cut off and went back to a military cut. *sniffle* I do have to admit that he looks rather hot with the short cut as well, but I did keep the ponytail for myself and hung it up between the fox pelts on my wall, heh. The stylist said that if he donated the hair, he could get his cut for free, but I wouldn't part with it. I think I had some mourning to do. But he does look good without all of it as well, so I can't complain in the least. :)
He also got a new car, an Escape to be exact, of which I am very much in awe. Didn't think I'd like it as much as I do, but I do.
Saturday night, we went to a party that was most fun, though rather small, but the company that was there was most definitely of the good kind, so much fun was to be had by all. I drank a bit too much, I think, and slept in the car on the way home, and slept in front of the TV after that, and I think we made it to bed around 3 or something...of course, me being the early bird, I was up at 7. *sigh* Stupid internal alarm clocks.
Yesterday we ran to the range and shot some more, and looked at a few tiny guns for me, but didn't shoot any...we found out that for $5 each, we can try out a gun before we buy it, so I think I might do that the next time we go. I would hate to buy something that ended up not feeling right, you know? Ugh.
Okay, I'll cut it short now...got lots to catch up on at work.
