Yippity yippity...

I.  Have had.  Too much Caffeine.  :o

And it's Folgers, too, I think.  *unsure*  I do know that I saw a sign in the break area that it's time for those who buy coffee to do so again, and to (this time) not get Maxwell House, because not enough people drink it.  Not being allowed to keep my own coffee pot at my desk leaves me with the option of either donating 30 cents for a cup of whatever the locals brew up, or chucking out 85 cents for a cup of the sludge they make in the cafeteria downstairs.  Neither option is ideal, but when you're holding your head up with a variety of writing implements, you make do....you're just sure to load it down with a ton of creamer (store brand, wahh), and sugar to make it tolerable.  I think I've gotten rather used to it at this point...so much so that when I go out and get a cup of GOOD coffee, I'm always shocked at how GOOD it is.  Heh.

So anyhoo.  I did have half a mind to start up a game of flag football in the aisle here, but then remembered the large numbers of older folks here and the shocking number of people who have died from here lately (one had a heart attack in front of the guard's desk, one died in the heat of a few weeks back as she walked to the bus stop, and I'm not sure what happened to the most recent one, but sheesh, I won't be drinking the water here, just in case), and I thought better of it.

The buzz is slowing wearing off, I think, which is both good and bad.  I want to go home and lay down on the floor with the dog, where we can play that game of I slap my hand on the carpet near her, and she puts her big paw over my arm and grabs my hand in her mouth (gently), then licks it.  Lather, rinse, repeat.  It's funny how things like that just never get old.  I saw her getting rambunctious with Chris yesterday as he was out watering the yard...she'd run up to him and body-slam him from behind....she'd just throw herself at his back, sideways, then roll over into a somersault.  It was the funniest damn thing.  Can't wait till she's 100 pounds and tries that.  *grins*  Maybe I can sell tickets for people to come watch the wrestling dog.

And then....I could BUY REAL COFFEE!  :D

I think I'm going to go get a pedicure at lunch.  I've never had one of those, and my lunch buddy says she wants to go get one.  Orange.  I think I want orange toes.  Or maybe pink.  We'll see.  Media party at KCRF tonight...I'm excited!  We're getting to go as guests!  Woohoo!

I think I'm getting distracted now....off to see what else there is to do.....
