This should be required viewing for everyone in my office, especially since they just added an espresso machine to the kitchen area near where I sit:

I cannot imagine how fast I could type if I had easy access to an espresso machine here at my office :)

So, is it a real espresso machine, or one of those mixey type machines like at QuikTrip?

Ohhh, it's niiice. It's the Jura Capresso Impressa Z5. Something like a $3500 machine that makes cappuccino, espresso, regular coffee (with a nice layer of crema), latte, or just plain ol' hot water. Grinds the beans fresh for every cup, pulls milk from a side thermos that stays cold for 8 hrs, etc. None of that powdered mix crap that sits inside the QT models. They got it for nearly half the cost, as it was a refurbished model, but we are all soooooo spoiled by it now, heh.

Oh, I am in genuine physical pain right now. Holy shit that's a nice piece of equipment. My brewed coffeemaker at home is a Capresso, and I love it.

I could do some serious damage with that thing. Is your company hiring, especially not-quite-over-the-hill ASP programmers? I might be in the market before the year is out...

Umm...I think we're always hiring on the engineer side, heh. :) And don't sell yourself as only ASP...you know you'd pick up any other language very quickly once tasked with something to accomplish. ;)

OMG If they said espresso 1 more time I was going to reach thru the screen and grab them by their neck!!!!lol

oh and I'm way jealous of the machine.....
