A Royal Christmas
Showdates: December 9th and 10th at 7:30, and December 11th at 2:00.
Cost: Adults are $10, Kids 10 and under are $6.
Where: Olathe Masonic Temple, 725 W Park St, Olathe, KS 66061 (it's just south of the junction of Sante Fe and Hwy 7.)
It's being held in the basement of the Temple...feels more like a fellowship hall, I think. Because of the small area, seats are limited. If you can go, please call 913-780-2597 and make a reservation for however many seats you need, and then you'll just pay at the door when you get there.
What to expect: You'll be taken back in time to Nottingham Castle, where you'll be joined by the king and queen...you'll get to see singing, dancing, storytelling, and maybe even a little swordplay. You'll get to enjoy warm wassail accompanied by some Christmas goodies. The ticket proceeds will benefit the YMCA Caring for People Scholarship Fund and also the Olathe YMCA Fine Arts Camp.
Who's in it? ME! :D Hah, well, I only play a tiny part. Others of more importance include: Adrian Gilby, Faye Greenwood, Stephen Burkett, Leslie Reams, Chris Olvera, and pretty much the whole cast of the Lord Mayor's Company. :) So come support us and help us raise money for the kids! :)
