Ooh, I want to sing!

Last night, Chris and the kids and I met up with Chris's boss, Michael, and we headed over to the Unity Temple to watch the Glad Tidings Christmas concert. It was wonderfulllll...! I got to speaking with one of the singers afterward and asked how one would get involved in such a thing, and she took my name and address and said they'd send stuff out next summer about the group, and if I wanted to join, they'd love to have me. Yay!

They start rehearsing in like October, or maybe even September, she said, because next year it'll be all new material, so if I do that, it may affect Fest and other stuff like the Royal Christmas show (if they'll have me back for that.) We'll see. I'd love to do it though...I've been thinking lately how much I miss singing in church choirs and that sort of thing. This would be a great way to fill that gap in my life, and would get me mingling with new people, which is always a bonus. :)

I'm at work today, a Saturday, churning away hard at finding bugs and such, so I better jet. Woo. I'll be glad when this thing finally launches. Have a good one!
