This is quick...

Got lots to get done today, but haven't updated in a few, so here are the latest bits of random puffs from the chimney coming out the top of my life.
The ex took the kids last night so he could have a birthday dinner with them, only instead of having a birthday dinner with them out somewhere, they went back to his place where they ordered pizza and hung out with the latest of his girlfriends and her 2 year old son, only the kids don't know the ex is dating this girl, and apparently they can't go OUT to dinner in public either, as the new g/f is a subordinate of the ex's at the place where they both work, and they can't be seen together. Which I guess is partly why *I* get to be the lucky one to hear stories about how she keeps him up all night having sex, since he can't tell anyone else about it. *yawns* Nice of him to get the kids back home before midnight, I guess, considering how it was a SCHOOL NIGHT AND ALL!!!!! .... *ahem* ....
So...yesterday it was freaking cold in here, and today it's whoa-hot. Hard for a girl to plan what to wear. Not that any of that really applies to you reading this, but it's a concern of mine.
I got an email from a sweet friend of mine that was something Andy Rooney had said, and it was this whole long thing about women over the age of 30, and all of it was right on target in a good way, but the last part made me giggle, especially as I've about heard enough of the cow/milk analogy lately due to my moving decision. Andy said: "For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?' Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage."
Hah! Cute quote, says me.
I'm going to go see a comedian/speaker sort of guy tonight with a group of people, C included. Should be pretty fun. Tonight is also the big meeting, but I'll not be in attendance there, as I've decided not to participate this year. Maybe next year, or maybe not even then...we'll see. But for this year at least, I'm focusing on my own life and all the fun stuff therein. And lately, that's been quite filled with drama anyway. ;)
Ahh, well, I rambled on far longer than I intended here, so I'll close for the day. You can pretend I've got one of those little clock-signs hanging in the window to my head. According to the sign, I'll be back at 9am tomorrow. We'll see how right that is.
Mwah.
