hdsqrlI'll toss in my two cents about the cast list I guess...
Umm....huh? I had browsed through the audition photos and was reminded of people I'd forgotten about but who I thought were talented...and had a little fun trying to determine who I would cast as which characters, based on appearance alone. Then the list came out, and it was filled with new names, which while it's good to see new people getting involved, I'm pretty taken aback by the names I *don't* see on there. Unless several people that I saw in the audition photos were there only for moral support and didn't actually audition, it's kind of shocking not to see more familiar names on the list.
Then there's the whole thing of who got what...that's a whole nother WTF issue that I won't get into. Ahh well, it should be interesting to see how it all goes. I hope they don't get burned by having tons of the new people drop out when they realize how much work is involved. And if that does happen, I'd be tickled to see them try to turn to the veterans and then be turned down.
Might be mean of me, but I can live with that. Something just doesn't smell right about a lot of this...I'm even more glad now that I'm taking this year (at least) off...playing is all that will be done this year. :)
And in other news, the drama continues with my ex.
