Kids, kids, everywhere...

hdsqrlIt's National Take Your Child To Work Day today, and my workplace is overflowing with kids, my two included. I think I've dropped about $75 between lunch and a trip to Osco where I bought some games and art supplies to keep them entertained. Not that there's THAT much work to be done that I need to get caught up on, but I think I like having the alone time to get caught up on personal stuff as well.
Speaking of personal stuff, the ex is officially now Being Ignored by me, as I'm refusing to play into his little manipulation games that he keeps flinging my way. Stupid little boy...he's not messing with the same person he used to be married to. This chica is miles stronger than the other one was. He's succeeded in pissing me off, that's true, but I'm not giving an inch of the rope I'm holding so tightly to.
It's freaking cold in here and my contacts are starting to haze over...two issues that are independent of each other...and I'm wishing it was already time to go home. I think I've had about as much kids-in-the-workplace as I can stand for one day.
