I always feel like I'm a newscaster when I write the title above, heh.  So as not to bore you with the trivial stuff (because OMG MY LIFE IS SO IMPORTANT, heh), here's the rundown of what kept me busy over the last few days:

Friday night: Went to Worlds of Fun with Chris and the kids.  Had dinner there at a picnic-y sort of thing, then rode rides and played games till 11pm.  Came home with blue monkeys for each of the kids and a green spotted frog for me.  Chris almost played the Guess Your Weight game for $5 'cause he wanted the eagle they offered as a prize but opted not to at the last moment.  I told him he could share my frog.  :p

Saturday: Got up early (ugh) and headed out for Connor's soccer game (they won, yay!)  Came home and then headed back out to WalMart and QT to get groceries and gas.  Came home and started working on a pirate costume for the son of a friend.  My hat goes off to those of you who can easily sew pirate shirts.  Holy hell, that little shirt is giving me fits.  Grr.  I told Chris that any money he has to pay to get a pre-made one is well worth it, hah.  Gave up on the shirt for the day after I ripped my 4th seam out, and went to take a nap on the couch as Chris played some sorta war game on the computer.  Woke up and made dinner, then got hooked on America's Next Top Model.  Stupid reality shows get me every time, especially when they run them marathon-style.  I think at this point we've got nine of the stupid things DVR'ed.

Sunday: Headed out for a day at Fest, and this time we brought Sasha with us.  Silly dog had a great day out there, and really only managed to get her paws muddy...the rest of her stayed amazingly clean.  Chris and I took turns working on the archery line and puppy-sitting.  I saw [profile] billthetailor and [personal profile] 5rings out there at the end of the day, which made me happy. :)  Grabbed some taco bell on the way home and ate it when we got home, then sent the kids off to bed while Chris and I settled down on the couch and watched two more episodes of that damn show.  It's like a quest at this point, I think.  We just need to know who wins, heh.  Chris determined that we need to start going to bed at 9pm each night, just so we can spend some quiet time alone together.  I'm like, but...but...AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!!!  :o  Hah.  I'm addicted.  :p  (though, no worries, I shall overcome the silly show-need to spend time with my honey.  Don't need to be getting any hate-comments about how he should come first.)  *...but..!!...*  Hee!

And now, it is Monday.  The day on which I pretend to work but secretly get caught up with all of my net-buddies.  Hello, net-buddies!  You are one of them!  (*thinks*  That was terribly grammatically incorrect, wasn't it?  Ehhh...)  I suppose I shall get to work...the week promises to be just as busy...Connor's learning how to make lasagna tonight, and Brenna's menu for Wednesday is meatloaf.  Why oh why do I agree to two time-consuming meals in the same week?   :p  Plus soccer practices on Tues and Thurs, and a trip to take the kids to their dad's on Friday, and then three soccer games on Saturday, and then dinner with super-wonderful-hope-to-be-even-better friends ([profile] billthetailor and [profile] mljm) on Saturday night...sheesh...I dunno if a 9pm bedtime will allow me to get anything done at home...maybe I should quit my job.  *thinks again*  Or not.  Money's good to have, too.

What?  I'm still at work?  Huh.  Maybe I should do something to earn my pay for today, you think?  Hee!  Okay, okay...going now.  Geez, you people don't have to be so pushy about it.  :p
