My head hurts, and my throat hurts, and I'm only at work 'cause I'm out of sick days, bleh.

The weekend was good...went to Doom & Richards' jewelry party on Saturday and spent more than I probably should have on some pieces that i just fell in love with.  Merry Christmas to me, heh.  ;)  Got my Thanksgiving dinner shopping done that morning, and went to a friend's housewarming party that night.  

Sunday was kind of lazy...I can't really tell you what I did, 'cause it's in that sick-haze of memory right now.  I do know that Chris and I tried to take the bikes out for a spin, but only made it to the gas station and back 'cause we were freezing.  We spent a few minutes polishing the chrome on my bike's wheels, and Brenna and I watched several episodes of Beauty and the Geek...I made dinner, then Chris and I watched The Libertine, during which the sicky bits kicked in and I slept through big chunks of it.  

Took some Nyquil and rubbed Vick's on my neck before bed, and didn't want to get up at all this morning.

Hot tea with honey is the first order of the day once I sign off on here.  So here I go...

I am so sorry you have what's going around. I hope you feel better very soon! Jami's down with a cold and fever today. He was fine last night at bedtime and woke up miserable. I've just put him down for his nap.

FYI, according to the drs office Strep is going around. We've just had viruses here in our house, but thought I'd let you know.

You really got a lot done this weekend though. Hopefully tonight you can just crash with some hot tea and rest.
